What Is Duck Day?
Duck Day is an annual Naugatuck Chamber Special Event. Over the past 14 years, the annual Duck Race and Festival has taken place downtown Naugatuck with over 5,000 attendees. Duck Day created a fun-filled day where family and friends gathered, enjoyed great music, tasted yummy food, shopped talented crafters and business vendors, played games and rode carnival rides! All while they waited to watch the highly anticipated Duck Race, as thousands of rubber ducks were dropped by a payloader down the Naugatuck River and raced to the finish line with the first prize of $5,000 CASH!
What does one $5.00 duck race ticket get me? One duck to be raced in the Naugatuck river for a grand prize of $5,000 CASH! Each ticket cost is $5.00; with $2.50 (50%) going right back to the non-profit partner you choose. Make sure to select Naugatuck YMCA on your checkout screen.

When do ticket sales begin? Ticket sales open on Saturday, August 1st, 2020 and go until 11:59pm on Monday, August 31st, 2020.
15th Annual Duck Race: This year we are going virtual! On Sunday, September 6th at 9 AM the first ever Virtual Duck Day Movie will be released! Family and Friends can gather to see the excitement of Duck Day and find out who the top ten winners are!
Prizes: 1st Prize is $5,000 Cash with 10 other great prize packages valued at $500+ each.
