Aquafit
If you are new to exercise , want to tone without pain, and get some aerobic conditioning stop in and try aquafit.

Aquasize
An overall toning & aerobic workout in the water. Great for beginner & intermediate participants. (Dept. of Aging inclusive)

Aquatic Master
A deep and shallow water class. Challenge yourself with this fun and invigorating class.

Boot Camp
High energy cardio class with old school calisthenics

Cooking with Linda - Nutrition ABC
An informational learning class which will focus on basic nutrition. This class will help participants learn how to plan, shop and eat in a healthier way, focusing on nutritional content of foods, reading labels, planning meals and avoiding pitfalls in daily life.

Deep Water
A challenging conditioning & toning class using water exercise equipment in the deep end.

Group Fitness Training Programs are offered seasonally. If you have a group that wants to work with a team of our trainers please contact Joan or Cathie 203 729-9622

Kickboxing
Kick, jab and punch your way to fitness. Great for the intermediate level participant.

Silver Sneakers® Muscular Strength & Range of Motion (MSROM)
Have fun and move to music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength and range of movement. Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Silver Sneakers® Cardio Circuit
Flexibility and muscular strength exercises.

 

Strength Training
Join us for a basic strength training. Increase your strength and muscle tone while learning proper form and breathing techniques. Appropriate for beginning and intermediate participants.

Tai Chi
Suitable for all fitness levels. Improve balance, coordination, muscle strength & stamina. Increase circulation. Highly recommended for those with Arthritis. (Dept of Aging inclusive)

Adult Co-ed Open Volleyball
Tuesday nights 7:00pm-8:30pm Must have a minimum of 12 people.

YMCA Workout
Increase cardiovascular & muscular endurance. Non impact choreography combined with upper body workout using weights & elastic tubing. Great for beginners or older adults.

Yoga
Strengthen and tone while you increase your flexibility. Learn breathing techniques to help calm you for your busy day. No previous knowledge of yoga required.
Gentle Yoga
Learn basic yoga postures and breathing techniques while honoring your body. Great for beginners of all levels. Modifications will be made to accommodate all physical restrictions.

Zumba
Dance your way to a fitter you. Exciting and unique Latin moves and rythmns.

Zumba Gold
This class is designed with the same guidelines as Zumba, but for those enthusiastic Active Older Adults and Beginners.

 





Fitness Class Fees
(7 week Session)
THERE IS A WEEK BREAK IN BETWEEN EACH SESSIONS FOR MAKE UP!
ALL PARTICPANTS MUST REGISTER WITH THE FRONT DESK EACH SESSION.
(Classes may be cancelled do to low registration/6 person minimum per class)
3 Day Classes: Full Members - free - Program Members $135
2 Day Classes: Full Members - free - Program Members $90
1 Day Class: Full Members - free - Program Members $45
***Must have an adult program membership
Drop in $9.00 per class, Members of other Y's pay $7
(Maximum 3 times per session/per class)
PROGRAMS BY APPOINTMENT (Call to schedule)
Racquetball: full members - free - guest pass $9
Fitness Testing: (members only) - full $15, program $20
Personal Training: (members only) full $25, program $50
Workout Center orientations: (full members only) free
